Young parents are tremendously concerned about the direction of our State and how it impacts their children’s future.
Governor Paul LePage believes:
- Maine Needs a Parents Bill of Rights
- We must ensure our educational dollars follow the student and that every parent has the choice to provide the best possible education for their children.
- Schools should be places to encourage kids how to think for themselves on important topics, not what to think.
- Not every student will attend a 4-year university, we must best prepare students for a variety of good paying careers. It is imperative that Maine increase our focus on technical, trade and vocational educational programs for both middle and high school students.
