Remove and Ban Russia Made Vodka and Spirits from Maine Stores, Says Former Governor Paul LePage

AUGUSTA, ME – Former Governor Paul LePage is urging a ban on any Russian made Vodka and spirits from Maine stores.

“Maine should immediately ban all Russian made Vodka and other spirits from being sold in Maine stores,” said Paul LePage, “If I were Governor today, I would move to have the Bureau of Alcoholic Beverages & Lottery Operations, working with the Commission, institute this ban. I call on Janet Mills to join all of the other states, like New Hampshire and Ohio, who have already issued a ban. It is a move which will signal our state’s resolve against Russian aggression. We should stand up and show support for Ukraine.”
